- Uninstall McAfee Internet Security on your Mac Close your browsers (Safari and Chrome) during removal to ensure that the McAfee browser plug-in is removed correctly. In the Dock, find and open the Applications folder. Double-click the McAfee Internet Security Uninstaller.
- Follow these steps to uninstall the Bigfix Client: Download the DMG file to the particular Macintosh system. Mount the file by double clicking on the DMG file. In the mounted file double click the BESAgent Uninstaller which will lead you through the uninstall process.
Though some third party applications still need installer, most third party websites simply offer disk image file (.dmg). The disk image helps to install the application with.app extension. And you can see all installed apps in the ‘Application’ folder in Finder.
Note: You may be prompted for an administrative login to uninstall a program.

- From the Start screen or apps list, right-click or swipe the appand choose Uninstall.
- If you are uninstalling an app from the Windows Store, clickUninstall.If you are uninstalling a desktop app, the
Programs andFeatures
will appear. Select the appropriate app and clickUninstall.

- From the Start menu, select Control Panel.
- In Large or Small icon view, click Programs andFeatures. If you're using Category view, under 'Programs', clickUninstall a program.
- Select the program you want to remove, and clickUninstall. Alternatively, right-click the program and selectUninstall.

- From the Start Menu, select ControlPanel.
- Click the Add or Remove Programs icon.
- Select the program you wish to remove and click Remove.
Windows XP in Classic View
- From the Start menu, select Settings, and thenControl Panel.
- Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
- Select the program you wish to remove and clickAdd/Remove.
Using an uninstall program

Many programs have an uninstall option. To look for such an option:
- From the Start menu, select Programs or AllPrograms.
- Find the folder for the program you wish to uninstall and highlight it.
- In many cases, on the menu that appears, you will see an uninstalloption.

If the program has neither its own uninstall program, nor a listing in the
Add/RemovePrograms
control panel, you mighttry installing it again, and then trying to uninstall it viathe Add/Remove Programs
control panel.If all the above suggestions fail, call the technical support numberfor the program and ask how you can uninstall it, or contact your campusSupport Center.
The following are the system requirements for installing the JDK and the JRE on macOS:

- Any Intel-based computer running macOS.
- Administrator privileges.You cannot install Java for a single user. Installing the JDK and JRE on macOS is performed on a systemwide basis for all users. Administrator privileges are required to install the JDK and JRE on macOS.
- When you install the JDK, it also installs the JRE. However, the system will not replace the current JRE with a lower version.To determine the current JRE version installed on your system, see Determining the JRE Version Installed on macOS. To install an earlier version of the JRE, you must first uninstall the current version. See Uninstalling the JRE on macOS.
- When you install the JRE, you can install only one JRE on your system at a time. The system will not install a JRE that has an earlier version than the current version.To determine the current JRE version installed on your system, see Determining the JRE Version Installed on macOS. To install an earlier version of the JRE, you must first uninstall the current version. See Uninstalling the JRE on macOS.Note:Installing a JRE from Oracle will not update
java -version
